Ivory Inlaid Needle Packet Case

Very unusual needlecase in the form of a miniature calling card case. It's made of ivory inlaid with white metal (possibly silver), some of which is missing on one face. The hinge and closer work perfectly and apart from the missing inlay and some age-related stainingto the ivory condition is very good. Measures just under 2" tall....

Nathaniel Mills Silver Etui

This beautifully crafted etui was made by the famous maker Nathaniel Mills. Sadly it does have some faults which could be repaired by a competant silversmith. The body of the etui is in very good order but repairs have been made at some time in it's life to both the hinge and the closer and they need restoring.
When lying flat, reverse side up, the piece displays very well as the faults are barely noticeable - they are on the edges and the right side of the front. It measures 2½" long by approximately 1¼".
